Doctoral Students & Researchers at the Postdoctoral Level
The "Spezialforschungsbereich Vienna Computational Materials Laboratory" ("SFB ViCoM") employs about 10 doctoral students and 10 researchers at the postdoctoral level in the areas of computational and solid state physics, chemistry, mathematics and engineering with a special focus on:
| A) | application and development of ab-initio electronic structure methods |
| B) | strongly correlated electron systems |
| C) | multi scale simulations including magnetic materials and devices, alloy physics and soft matter physics |
Most positions are currently filled, but applications are always very welcome. We offer an exciting environment in leading groups focusing on the development of electronic structure methods. We offer excellent facilities to train and broaden your capabilities.
